Hastings Community Playgroup commences this term on Monday mornings 10-12pm. Cost $4.00 per family. Playgroup is open to all mums, dads and carers of children under pre-school age.Playgroups are a great way to develop social skills in children and also an opportunity for parents to chat, share experiences and join in some fun. Places are available by booking only, contact the Community House to register.

This class is designed for the beginner patch worker and any level of experience is welcome.Class is fortnightly commencing April 19, with experienced patch worker Bette Smith.Cost is $15.00 for a three hour session, 9.30-12.30pm.Bookings and requirements list can be obtained from the Community House.

This active craft group will, inspire you to create with their positive attitude and community spirit. The craft group makes items for donation, and has recently created several projects to assist the Bush Fire victims. Contribute to 'Collective Art Making' by sharing skills to create textile art for local community organizations to sell as fundraisers. All abilities welcome.

Learn this rewarding technique with our qualified tutor and be amazed at how quickly you can make designer items for your home. Contact the community house for requirements.  This is an art class with a difference. Designed for teenagers aged 13-17, this weekly class will expand your creativity while you explore art "your way". Work with an experienced art teacher to design an art project that interests YOU! Class time is flexibile for for commencement and some up front materials will be provided.All you need to do is bring your imagination, creativity and a sense of fun.Places are limited so please book early.
